Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) /Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm.)

A candidate seeking admission to First Semester B. Pharm. or First Year D. Pharm. must have passed:

Senior School Certificate Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi (12 year Course) or the Indian School Examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and/or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects with 55% or above marks* in aggregate and individually in theory of the three Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics) from Recognized Schools in the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

OR

10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and/or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects with 55% or above marks* in aggregate and individually in theory of the three Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics).

OR

Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.

OR

Intermediate examination in science from Indian Universities or with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and/or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects with 55% or above marks* in aggregate and individually in theory of the three Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics). Candidates who have been awarded grades in the examination which make them eligible for admission should also submit conversion certificate of numerical marks from the concerned authority. The candidates who have passed 10+2 Examination from Open School are ELIGIBLE for admission to B. Pharm. 1st Semester. Provided that a student should have completed 17 years of age on the date of admission or should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December 2017.

B. Pharm. Lateral Entry

A candidate seeking admission to B. Pharm. Lateral Entry (to Second Year/Third semester) must have passed D. Pharm. course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act as per regulation 4.B. of the Bachelor of Pharmacy course Regulations, 2014.

Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.P.T.)

A candidate seeking admission to First Semester Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) must have passed:

Senior School Certificate Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi (12 year Course) or the Indian School Examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects with 55% or above marks* in aggregate and individually in theory of the three Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) from Recognized Schools in the National Territory of Delhi.

OR

10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (P.C.B /P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects with 55% or above marks* in aggregate and individually in theory of the three Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology).

OR

Any other qualification approved by the Delhi Council for Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy, as equivalent to any of the above examinations

OR

Intermediate examination in science from Indian Universities or with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects with 55% or above marks* in aggregate and individually in theory of the three Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology).Candidates who have been awarded grades in the examination which make them eligible for admission should also submit conversion certificate of numerical marks from the concerned authority. The candidates who have passed 10+2 Examination from Open School are ELIGIBLE for admission to B.P.T. 1st Semester. Provided that a student should have completed 17 years of age on the date of admission or should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December 2017. * A 5% relaxation will be given to SC/ST and OBC candidates seeking admission.

Note: a) The candidate having supplementary/compartment in the qualifying examination shall not be allowed admission in the University teaching department.

b) Migration of students will be governed by the Rules and Regulations of DPSRU, New Delhi.

Admissions to Foreign Nationals:

Eligibility is same as for general candidates. It is mandatory to submit a migration certificate obtained from the respective university where the candidate had passed his/her qualifying degree Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) / M.B.A. (Pharmaceutical Management)

1. Eligibility Criteria for Admission:

A candidate seeking admission to First Semester M. Pharm. must have passed:

a) B. Pharm. Degree examination of an Indian university established by law in India from an institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India and has scored not less than 55%* of the maximum marks (aggregate of theory II, III and IV yrs/or III to VIII semesters of B. Pharm.)

b) Every student, selected for admission to post graduate pharmacy program in any PCI approved institution should have obtained registration with the State Pharmacy Council or should apply for the registration of the same within one month from the date of his/her admission, failing which the admission of the candidate shall be cancelled.

It is mandatory to submit a migration certificate obtained from the respective university where the candidate had passed his/her qualifying degree.

* A 5% relaxation will be given to SC/ST and OBC candidates seeking admission.

Basis of Selection

Candidate seeking admission to the M. Pharm and MBA course must have passed the Bachelor of Pharmacy examination with at least 55% in the aggregate of theory of II, III and IV year from national capital of Delhi. GPAT QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHALL BE CONSIDERED FOR ADMISSION FIRST. In case GPAT candidates are not available, Non GPAT candidates can be considered for admission, on the basis of merit. First 15% of the total seats will be filled by Non-Delhi candidates with valid GPAT score and completed B. Pharm. examination with 55% from recognized University. Remaining 85% of the total seats will be filled by graduates passed out from Delhi colleges/universities with valid GPAT score in order of preference of disciplines. The merit list of candidates for admission to 85% seats from Delhi will be in accordance with the following criteria:

•     50% weightage for marks in theory II, III and IV yrs ( or III to VIII semesters)
•     50% weightage for GPAT score In case of more than one candidate with the same score, preference will be given to the candidate who is older in age. In case no GPAT students available in 15%

Non-Delhi category, then student from Delhi category with GPAT will be considered. In case sufficient numbers of Delhi students are not available against the 85% of seats, the  eats will go to Non-Delhi students with valid GPAT score. After exhaustion of Non-Delhi GPAT qualified candidates, if seats still remain vacant they will be offered to DelhiNon-GPAT applicants. Further, if seats still remain vacant the non Delhi Non-GPAT can be considered. The meritlistfor Non-GPAT candidates will be prepared on the basis of total of theory examination of II, III, IV year (or III to VIII semesters) 

Age Requirement

Candidates seeking admission to M. Pharm. course must be more than 21 years of age as on 31st December 2017. 

Submission of Application and Display of Merit List

The final merit list for all categories of M. Pharm. will be displayed on the Notice Board/Website of the University. Admission to various courses will be offered to the candidates strictly according to the order of merit given in the merit list.

Master of Hospital Management (M.H.M.)/Master of Public Health (M.P.H)

Eligibility Criteria for Admission: A candidate seeking admission to First Semester, must have passed:

a) B. Pharm. / M.B.B.S. / B.D.S. / B.H.M.S. / B.U.M.S. / B.A.M.S. Degree examination of an Indian university established by law in India from an institution approved by their respective Councils of India (PCI, MCI, DCI, AYUSH, Homoeopath, Ayurved, Unani councils) and has scored not less than 55 % of the maximum marks.*

b) Every student, selected for admission to post graduate program in any council approved institution should have obtained registration with the State Council or should obtain the same within one month from the date of his/her admission, failing which the admission of the candidate shall be cancelled.

It is mandatory to submit a migration certificate obtained from the respective university where the candidate had passed his/her qualifying degree.

Doctor of Philoshphy (Ph.D.)

The details for admission to Ph.D. program will be notified separately. As per the UGC guidelines, admission test will be conducted and there will be a provision for scholarship/fellowship to the students. Studentshavingfellowshipfromanyrecognizednational/state agencies are exempted from the admission test as per UGC rules and may apply directly to the University through the recognized Ph.D. teacher at the University or its constituent college (DIPSAR) on or before 31st August 2017.

Sports Pharmacy and Management Skills programs

University will be starting new courses in sports  pharmacy and management skills from 2017-18. A separate prospectus and notification will be published. Certificate Courses in Yoga University is currently running evening 6 month certificate courses. Student can get admission for courses start from July 2017 or January 2018. Candidate has to submit application form with requisite fee of Rs. 3000/- (including examination fee). A maximum of 30 students can be enrolled at a time. Admissions will be given on the first-cum-first basis.
